Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to NIZAM: International Journal of Islamic Studies undergo the following process:

Initial Screening

Conducted by the Editorial Board to ensure suitability with the journal’s focus and scope as well as compliance with submission guidelines.

Manuscripts failing to meet these criteria may be returned to authors without external review.

Plagiarism Check
-
Performed using plagiarism detection tools to ensure originality.

Double-Blind Peer Review
-
Both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are kept confidential throughout the review process.

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

Relevance of the title, abstract, discussion, and conclusions;

Novelty and originality of the research;
-
Scientific contribution and potential impact;

Adequacy, accuracy, and currency of references.
Editorial Decision

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision (accept, revise, or reject) based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial board discussions.

Authors will be notified of the decision along with reviewers’ comments to guide revisions.
