Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to NGABDI: Scientific Journal of Community Services undergoes an initial screening by the Editorial Board to ensure conformity with the journal’s focus, scope, and formatting guidelines. After this initial assessment, manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection tools.

The peer review process follows these policies:

  1. Reviewer Assignment – All manuscripts meeting the initial criteria will be assigned to qualified reviewers for evaluation.

  2. Double-Blind Review – The journal applies a double-blind review system, ensuring both reviewer and author identities remain anonymous throughout the process.

  3. Review Criteria – Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the alignment between title, abstract, discussion (findings), and conclusion, as well as the originality, scientific contribution, and adequacy of references used.

  4. Recommendations – Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations, which may include acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript.
