Pendampingan dan Edukasi Pentingnya 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan Untuk Meningkatkan Status Gizi Anak

Health problems related to nutritional status in children are still a problem in the world, especially in developing countries. Indonesia is a developing country that has quite high nutritional status problems. Efforts to improve nutritional status must begin as early as possible, precisely starting from the fetal life period. In Indonesia, this effort is called the First 1000 Days of Life Movement, abbreviated as 1000 HPK (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2018). Community service activities are carried out at PMB Santi, Cakuang Village. The target is 10 pregnant women at PMB Santi on Wednesday, January 10 2024. The methods used are 1) conducting a pre-test, 2) collecting data, 3) providing education, 4) conducting a post-test and 5) conducting monitoring and evaluation. Providing education to pregnant women about the First 1000 Days of Life starting from the definition, the impact of malnutrition, the nutritional needs of pregnant women, nutritional recommendations, the period for 1000 HPK, balanced nutrition and providing one balanced nutritious meal as well as providing leaflets. The results of pregnant women's knowledge about 1000 HPK, in the pre-test, obtained a good score of 20%, and a poor score of 80%. There was an increase in the post-test results with good scores of 90% and poor scores of 10%.
