Penyuluhan Pemberian Tablet Fe pada Remaja di SMK Kesehatan Lhokseumawe

Anemia is a major nutritional problem that occurs throughout the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that 409-595 million people suffer from anemia aged 15-19 years in six countries, namely Africa, America, Asia, Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Western Pacific region. The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia based on Riskesdas 2013 reached 37.1% and increased to 48.9% in the 15-24 year age group in 2018 (Riskesdas, 2018) (Khoiriyah et al., 2022). One of the right ways to prevent anemia and increase iron reserves in the body is by giving iron supplements or blood supplement tablets (TTD) to teenage girls who have a greater chance of iron deficiency (RI Ministry of Health, 2016). Community service activities were carried out in Lhokseumawe Aceh. The targets are teenagers in classes X, XI and The methods used are 1) taking an approach, 2) Observing and collecting data, 3) conducting interviews, 4) Providing education to teenagers about iron tablets and anemia starting from the causes, impacts, prevention and ways to deal with anemia in teenagers. The results of the female students' knowledge questionnaire, in the pre-test, obtained a good score of 53.33%, a fair score of 26.66% and a poor score of 20%. Meanwhile, the post-test results obtained a good score of 93.33%, a fair score of 6.66%. implemented directly
