Pemanfaatan Limbah Jagung Sebagai Pupuk Organik untuk Peningkatan Produksi Pertanian “Samauna Garden”

Abstract

This activity aims to find out the process of making organic fertilizers and to increase agricultural production "Samauna Garden" so that it becomes an alternative to inorganic fertilizers whose prices are very high by utilizing corn waste plant materials (stems, leaves and covering husks) which have high economic value to be processed into organic fertilizer to fertilize agricultural land and contains quite a lot of macro and micro nutrients and is quite high. In carrying out this activity we collected corn waste that had been harvested by being crushed by chopping the machine plus various types of mixed fertilizers. The process of mixing materials in balance with the dosage of raw materials and the temperature of the composting process, so that the soil will be able to hold sufficient amounts of water and can enrich beneficial microbes in breaking down soil organic matter, because organic matter is available to be processed into materials that are ready to absorb, and the presence of Microbes are expected to provide the availability of elements adsorbed in soil colloids to become nutrients for plant growth. The results of this activity show that "Samauna Garden" can innovate by producing organic fertilizer products to support activities in the agricultural sector.
