Nutritional status in early childhood plays a crucial role in supporting optimal growth and development. Insufficient maternal knowledge regarding the nutritional needs and balance of young children constitutes one of the main factors contributing to the high prevalence of nutritional imbalance. Other factors that exacerbate this condition include unhealthy lifestyles and a lack of awareness in adopting regular practices of consuming nutritionally adequate foods. This activity aimed to improve maternal knowledge regarding toddler nutrition as a preventive effort against malnutrition and its associated complications. The activity was conducted at BKB Melati RW 02, Kelapa Dua Wetan Subdistrict, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, through health education employing an integrated promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative approach. The methods included nutrition education sessions for toddlers accompanied by evaluation through question-and-answer discussions to assess participants’ level of understanding. The results demonstrated an increase in community awareness, particularly among mothers of toddlers, regarding the importance of balanced nutrition for young children. This educational activity is expected to contribute to the control and prevention of nutritional imbalance among toddlers.
