Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to BUSINESS: Scientific Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship follow these steps:

  1. Initial Screening

    • The Editorial Board conducts a preliminary review to ensure the manuscript fits the journal’s scope and meets basic formatting requirements.

    • Manuscripts not meeting the criteria may be returned to authors for revision before proceeding.

  2. Plagiarism Check

    • A plagiarism screening is carried out using plagiarism detection tools to ensure the originality of the manuscript.

  3. Double-Blind Peer Review

    • The journal applies a double-blind review system, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed.

    • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

  4. Review Criteria
    Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

    • Relevance and alignment of the title, abstract, discussion, and conclusions;

    • Novelty and originality of the research;

    • Scientific contribution and potential impact;

    • Quality and appropriateness of the references.

  5. Editorial Decision

    • The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision (accept, revise, or reject) based on reviewers’ feedback and recommendations from the editorial board.
