Peer Review Process

Each manuscript submitted to ARRAZI: Scientific Journal of Health undergoes a rigorous review process:

  1. Initial Screening – Manuscripts are first reviewed by the Editorial Board to ensure they align with the journal’s scope and meet submission guidelines.

  2. Plagiarism Check – A plagiarism check is conducted using TURNITIN before proceeding to the peer review stage.

  3. Double-Blind Review – The journal implements a double-blind review process, ensuring that both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other.

  4. Review Criteria – Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:

    • Alignment between title, abstract, discussion, and conclusion

    • Novelty and originality of the work

    • Scientific impact and contribution to the field

    • Accuracy and appropriateness of references used

  5. Decision – Recommendations from reviewers are considered by the Editorial Board to decide whether the manuscript will be accepted, revised, or rejected.


Publication Frequency

ARRAZI: Scientific Journal of Health is published twice a year, with each issue containing a minimum of five (5) articles.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content. All articles are freely available for educational, research, and library purposes without subscription fees, supporting the principle of global knowledge exchange.


Plagiarism Check

The journal uses TURNITIN plagiarism detection software to screen manuscripts before publication. Manuscripts with plagiarism exceeding acceptable limits will be rejected or returned to authors for revision.


Publication Ethics

ARRAZI: Scientific Journal of Health follows ethical publishing standards based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. This code of conduct applies to all parties involved in the publication process: authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers/publishers.


Editor Ethics

  • The editor is responsible for ensuring thorough, transparent, objective, and fair review of manuscripts.

  • Editors have the authority to decide whether manuscripts are accepted or rejected, in accordance with editorial policies and applicable laws on copyright and plagiarism.

  • Editors must provide clear guidelines to authors and ensure all submissions are reviewed properly.

  • Editors must remain impartial, treating all submissions equally regardless of the authors’ background (gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, etc.).

  • Editors must maintain confidentiality of all manuscript information and are prohibited from using unpublished material for personal gain.


Reviewer Ethics

  • Reviewers provide clear, constructive, and objective feedback within the specified review period (3 weeks).

  • Reviews must be conducted professionally and free from bias related to gender, ethnicity, religion, or nationality.

  • Reviewers must verify the accuracy of references and citations in the manuscript.

  • Confidentiality of manuscripts must be maintained; reviewers may not use any part of the manuscript for personal advantage.


Author Ethics

  • Authors must ensure that manuscripts submitted are original works, free from data fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.

  • Manuscripts should not be submitted simultaneously to other journals. Duplicate submissions will result in rejection.

  • Proper attribution and citation must be provided for all referenced works.

  • Authors agree to editorial changes that do not alter the core meaning of the manuscript.

  • Authors are responsible for avoiding conflicts of interest throughout the submission and review process.


Journal Manager / Publisher Ethics

  • The journal manager/publisher ensures that all published articles undergo a proper editorial and peer-review process.

  • Academic freedom is upheld for editors and reviewers in carrying out their duties.

  • The manager/publisher safeguards confidentiality, copyright, and intellectual property rights of authors and reviewers.
