Abstract

The aim of this study is to conduct a comprehensive literature review on the relationship between ergonomic risks and duration of work with worker complaints related to their musculoskeletal system. This review will collect, analyze, and synthesize data and findings from relevant previous studies in this field. The research method used in this study is a literature review. The steps involved include identifying the research objectives, selecting relevant journals, identifying keywords, searching for literature, selecting literature based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, data analysis, and writing the literature review. After conducting searches across various academic databases, six articles were found to meet the review criteria out of 24,840 clinical and research articles that met the inclusion criteria. The managerial implications of this research are significant in enhancing understanding of factors influencing musculoskeletal complaints among workers and their implications for health and well-being. The findings of this study can be utilized to develop appropriate prevention and intervention strategies to improve ergonomics and protect the musculoskeletal health of workers.
