Peran sistem Informasi dalam Meningkatkan Efisiensi Administrasi pada Puskesmas: Studi Literatur

Abstract

Public health institutions responsible for providing basic healthcare services to the community are called Community Health Centers (Puskesmas). To ensure effective resource management, good scheduling arrangements, proper supervision, and intelligent decision-making, administrative efficiency in Puskesmas is crucial. Information systems greatly facilitate communication between various departments, data integration, and coordination within the Puskesmas. Centralized and easily accessible information facilitates good coordination among medical staff, administration, management, and the Puskesmas itself. This reduces communication barriers, accelerates information exchange, and enables faster and better decision-making. Additionally, information systems also support monitoring and evaluation of Puskesmas performance. Method: This paper's research methodology involves a Literature Review of research articles obtained from the Google Scholar and Science Direct databases using the keywords Information Systems, Puskesmas Administration, and Puskesmas. The selected articles meet the criteria of being published from 2015 to 2023, both in national and international journals. The literature review is conducted by comparing research methods, processing methods, and the results obtained from each article.
