Asuhan Keperawatan pada Ibu Hamil dengan Anemia di Wilayah Puskesmas Kuta Baro Aceh Besar

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is one of the most common maternal health problems and may lead to complications during pregnancy. Pregnant women with anemia often experience fatigue, dizziness, and weakness, which may affect maternal and fetal health if not managed appropriately. Therefore, comprehensive nursing care is needed to address these problems. This case study was conducted on Mrs. H, a third-trimester pregnant woman with mild anemia in the working area of Kutabaro Community Health Center, Aceh Besar Regency. Data were collected through interviews, physical examinations, and supporting data review. Assessment findings showed a hemoglobin level of 10.2 g/dL, accompanied by complaints of dizziness, weakness, and easy fatigue. Based on the assessment, three nursing diagnoses were identified: ineffective peripheral perfusion, fatigue, and risk of infection. Nursing interventions included education about anemia, recommendations for iron supplementation and iron-rich foods, and education regarding clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors and the importance of Tetanus Toxoid immunization. Evaluation results showed reduced symptoms, improved activity tolerance, and increased maternal knowledge.
