Asuhan Keperawatan pada Ibu Hamil dengan Anemia di Wilayah Puskesmas Kutabaro Aceh Besar

Abstract

The purpose of this case study is to implement holistic nursing care for pregnant women with anemia at the Kuta Baro Health Center. The author uses a case study with a nursing process approach, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of this case study is a pregnant woman with anemia who received nursing care for 4 days. The first nursing diagnosis is ineffective peripheral perfusion. An educational intervention was conducted to highlight the benefits of consuming guava (Psidium guajava) in increasing hemoglobin levels. Evaluation results showed a reduction in complaints of dizziness and fatigue. The second diagnosis is fatigue. Health education was provided on activity and rest management, including guidance on activity and rest schedules for pregnant women, as well as on the importance of consuming nutritious, iron-rich foods. The results showed that fatigue complaints were less frequent during activities. The third diagnosis is anxiety. Relaxation exercises were performed by listening to Quran recitation therapy, and the results showed that the mother was calmer and able to control anxiety. It is concluded that comprehensive and continuous nursing care with evidence-based practice interventions can help improve the condition of pregnant women with anemia.
