Asuhan Keperawatan pada Ibu dengan Preeklamsia Post Secsio Caesaria: Studi Kasus

Abstract

Auditory hallucinations are one of the signs and symptoms that can be found in patients with schizophrenia, causing individuals to live in their own world, the most common schizophrenia can be in the form of whispers, taunts, unreal threats, and can be in the form of commands that can affect life and can endanger themselves and others. This case study aims to provide nursing care with generalist therapy, namely implementation strategies, and the application of gardening occupational therapy at the Aceh Mental Hospital. The method used is a case study in the form of generalist therapy (implementation strategies) for two days, and the application of gardening occupational therapy (planting, watering, to harvesting) for seven days, with a duration of 10-30 minutes per session. The sample used was one schizophrenic patient with auditory hallucinations who was treated in the Balee Tanjung room of the Aceh Mental Hospital. Before the intervention, an Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRS) score was measured, consisting of 11 question items. The results of the intervention showed that the AHRS score before the intervention was 33 (severe category), after the intervention (implementation strategy and gardening activities) was carried out the AHRS score dropped to 22 (moderate category), this shows that there is an effect of the nursing intervention given on reducing the AHRS score.
