Asuhan Keperawatan pada Bayi dengan Hirschsprung di Ruang Nicu Rumah Sakit Umum Pemerintah Aceh

Abstract

Hirschsprung disease is a congenital disorder of the digestive system characterized by the absence of ganglion cells in part of the large intestine, resulting in impaired intestinal motility and functional obstruction. Inadequate management may lead to serious complications such as enterocolitis, bowel perforation, and even death. This case study aims to identify nursing care in children with hirschprung of Newborn. Seven primary nursing diagnoses were identified, namely: impaired spontaneous ventilation, ineffective airway clearance, nutritional deficit, impaired skin integrity, risk of infection, constipation, and parental knowledge deficit. Comprehensive nursing interventions were carried out, including vital signs monitoring and blood gas analysis, positioning in semi-Fowler's to support lung expansion, fluid administration, infant massage therapy, stoma care using aseptic techniques, and parental education. Evaluation results showed gradual improvement in the patient’s condition. Proper and well-planned nursing care in the NICU plays a crucial role in accelerating recovery and improving prognosis in neonates with Hirschsprung disease. Discharge planning and family empowerment are essential components for ensuring continuity of care at home.
