Asuhan Keperawatan pada Keluarga dengan Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) di Gampong Miruek Taman Kecamatan Darussalam Aceh Besar

Abstract

In this study it aimed to provide an overview of family nursing care with hypercholesterolemia, stroke and hypertension. The priority nursing diagnoses occurring in families are ineffective health management related to stroke and ineffective health maintenance related to hypercholesterolemia and hypertension. A case study with a family nursing care process approach was used as the research method. Family nursing interventions refer to five family nursing tasks. Interventions for hypercholesterolemia issues included health education on the disease process, hypercholesterolemia diet, hand exercise, ergonomic gymnastics, suggesting light exercise and adequate rest and utilizing health facilities. On the other hand, interventions for stroke problems included health education on the disease process, stroke diet and Range of Motion (ROM) exercises. Additionally, interventions for hypertension problems include health education through PATUH and CERDIK, hypertension diet (DASH), neck massage and suggesting families provide blood pressure measuring devices. According to the evaluation results, there was an increase in knowledge about hypercholesterolemia, stroke and hypertension as well as increased family skills and motivation to improve health status.
