Penerapan Terapi Meronce Manik-Manik pada Pasien dengan Halusinasi Pendengaran

Hallucinations are one of the positive symptoms of schizophrenia. Patients often experience panic as they are controlled by their hallucinations. The purpose of this case study is to provide comprehensive nursing care for Mrs. IRP by implementing execution strategies and bead stringing therapy at Aceh Mental Health Hospital. The patient received generalist therapy for six days and bead stringing therapy for four days. Bead stringing therapy was conducted in seven sessions, consisting of three stages, with each session lasting 45 minutes. The results of this case study showed a reduction in the Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRS) score from 30 (severe category) to 15 (moderate category). Improvements were observed in the duration, voice strength, belief in the origin of the voice, amount of negative voice content, intensity of negative voice content, number of distressing voices, intensity of distressing voices, disruption caused by the voices, and control over the voices. The nursing interventions improve concentration the patient. Therefore, the implementation of execution strategies and bead stringing therapy effectively reduced the signs and symptoms of hallucinations. Nurses at Aceh Mental Health Hospital are recommended to provide continuous support for the implemented strategies and bead stringing therapy.
