Asuhan Keperawatan pada Pasien Halusinasi Pendengaran Melalui Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh

Auditory hallucinations are one of the positive symptoms commonly found in patients with schizophrenia. This case study aims to explore the implementation of comprehensive nursing care using generalist therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) at Aceh Mental Hospital. The method used in this study is a case study, providing generalist therapy and ACT for seven days of accompaniment. The sample consists of one patient with auditory hallucinations being treated at Aceh Mental Hospital. To assess the level of auditory hallucinations, the Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRS) questionnaire, which consists of eleven items, was used. The results of the case study show a decrease in the AHRS score, where before the intervention, the patient's score was 30 (severe category), and after the intervention, it decreased to 23 (moderate category). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of generalist therapy and ACT is effective in reducing the symptoms of auditory hallucinations in patients. Therefore, it is recommended that nurses at Aceh Mental Hospital consistently provide generalist therapy and ACT interventions in managing patients with auditory hallucinations.
