Peer Review Process

Each manuscript submitted to EDUCATION: Scientific Journal of Education will first undergo an initial screening by the Editorial Board to ensure suitability with the journal’s scope and compliance with basic submission requirements. A plagiarism check will be conducted using plagiarism detection software prior to further processing.

The journal implements the following review policies:

  1. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by at least two reviewers.

  2. The review process follows a double-blind system, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain anonymous to each other.

  3. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

    • The correspondence between title, abstract, findings, and conclusions;

    • The novelty and originality of the research;

    • The scientific impact and contribution of the work;

    • The adequacy and accuracy of references used.


Publication Frequency

EDUCATION: Scientific Journal of Education is published twice a year (biannually). Each issue contains a minimum of six (6) research articles.


Open Access Policy

All articles published in this journal are open access and freely available online to the public. Content may be used for educational, research, and library purposes in accordance with the journal’s copyright policy.


Plagiarism Check

The journal uses TURNITIN software to screen and check for plagiarism before articles are accepted for publication.


Publication Ethics

EDUCATION: Scientific Journal of Education is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. This code of ethics provides minimum standards for all parties involved in the publication process: authors, editors, editorial board members, reviewers, and the journal manager/publisher. This statement is adapted from the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Editor Ethics

  • Editors are responsible for conducting thorough, transparent, objective, and fair reviews of submitted manuscripts.

  • Editors have the authority to decide whether a manuscript is accepted or rejected for publication, in consultation with the editorial board.

  • Editors provide clear information regarding submission guidelines and ensure that manuscripts are reviewed according to established policies.

  • Editors must act objectively and fairly, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, race, nationality, or political views of the authors.

  • Editors must maintain confidentiality of all manuscript details and are prohibited from using unpublished material for personal gain.

  • Unpublished manuscripts must be returned to the authors.

Reviewer Ethics

  • Reviewers provide constructive, measurable, and comprehensive recommendations regarding manuscripts within the specified time (3 weeks).

  • Reviewers must be honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and uphold scientific integrity.

  • Reviewers should verify the appropriateness of references and citations.

  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and must not use any part of the content for personal benefit.

Author Ethics

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, free from plagiarism, and represent their own research or ideas.

  • Authors must declare that the manuscript has not been submitted or published elsewhere.

  • Proper attribution must be given for all cited works, and sources may not be altered.

  • Authors agree that the editorial team may edit the manuscript without altering its substance or main idea.

  • Authors must comply with publication ethics to avoid conflicts of interest and ensure smooth publication processing.

Journal Manager / Publisher Ethics

  • The journal manager/publisher is responsible for the publication process, including editing, peer review, and layout according to scientific publishing standards.

  • The manager/publisher ensures academic freedom for editors and reviewers in performing their duties.

  • The manager/publisher safeguards privacy, protects intellectual property and copyright, and maintains editorial independence.
