Peran Penting Mahasiswa Ekonomi Pembangunan UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur Dalam Menghadapi Ancaman Negara Non-Militer Melalui Mata Kuliah Bela Negara

Abstract

This article discusses the crucial role of students majoring in Development Economics in dealing with non-military state threats through integrating National Defense courses. National students are expected to become agents of change who understand and are able to manage economic risks that can endanger stability. The main focus is analyzing how development economics knowledge can be used to respond to non-military challenges such as economic crises, inequality and social instability. Through national defense courses, we are empowered to understand the complexity of these challenges and develop strategies based on a solid economic understanding. Discussions include development economics concepts, public policy, and student contributions in formulating sustainable solutions. The results are expected to provide a new perspective on the role of students in the context of national security, underlining the importance of an economic perspective in supporting efforts to maintain state preservation amidst the dynamics of increasingly complex and broad non-military challenges.
