Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of the implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Control (QC) on the organizational performance of PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in Indonesia. ISO 9001 focuses on improving operational efficiency through process standardization and continuous improvement, while QC ensures product quality consistency at every stage of production. A quantitative method was used, with a survey conducted among one hundred AHM employees involved in the implementation of ISO 9001 and QC. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the implementation of ISO 9001 had a significant impact on operational efficiency, while QC had an impact on product quality. The integration of these two approaches enhances productivity, reduces product defects, and improves customer satisfaction. The findings emphasize the importance of implementing ISO 9001 and QC in quality management strategies to boost competitiveness in the automotive industry. AHM must continue to update and align quality standards with technological advancements and market needs to maintain its position as a market leader.
