Efektivitas Manajemen Kas pada Divisi Treasury PT PLN Nusantara Power Services

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effectiveness of cash management in the Treasury Division of PT PLN Nusantara Power Services, a large-scale energy service company facing complexities in liquidity and financial administration. The main issue examined is the extent to which cash management processes particularly document verification, bank reconciliation, and vendor payment approvals support liquidity control and the smooth operation of the company. The method employed is descriptive-analytical, involving direct observation, document review, and comparison of field practices with cash management theory and the COSO internal control framework. The findings indicate that cash management in the Treasury Division has generally been effective, characterized by structured procedures, a layered approval system, and routine reconciliation practices, which together ensure timely payments and maintain cash stability. The study concludes that cash management effectiveness is strongly influenced by robust internal controls, administrative accuracy, and cross-divisional coordination, while further improvements in digitalization and communication are needed to enhance efficiency in the future.
