Strategi Komunikasi Publik Bakesbangpol Kota Madiun untuk Meningkatkan Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Bela Negara

This study aims to analyze the role of the National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol) of Madiun City in the design and implementation of public communication strategies, as well as its optimization efforts in enhancing community participation. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through literature review, field observations, and internship experience, supported by relevant previous studies. The findings indicate that public communication strategies are formulated based on target audience mapping, message adaptation, and the utilization of both conventional and digital communication media. The implementation of these strategies is carried out through socialization activities, national dialogue forums, community organization development, and the use of social media and the official website. Cross-sector collaboration and the involvement of community leaders strengthen communication effectiveness. Although public participation remains limited, continuous evaluation and innovation in communication content are essential steps to enhance community engagement. Through well-managed, targeted, and two-way public communication, Bakesbangpol of Madiun City contributes significantly to strengthening state defense awareness at the local level.
