Penyuluhan Kesehatan Reproduksi Pasca Bencana Banjir dan Tanah Longsor di Desa Kuta Meuligoe Kecamatan Sawang Kabupaten Aceh Utara

Floods and landslides are frequent occurrences in North Aceh and have a significant impact on public health, particularly the reproductive health of vulnerable groups such as women of childbearing age, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, adolescents, and the elderly. Community service activities were carried out in Kuta Meuligoe Village, Sawang District, North Aceh Regency. The target was 23 women of childbearing age in Kuta Meuligoe Village, Sawang District, North Aceh Regency on December 16, 2025. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge and awareness about post-disaster reproductive health through health education activities. The methods used include identifying needs, education using educational media, interactive discussions, and evaluating participant understanding. The results of the activity demonstrated increased participant knowledge regarding personal hygiene, maternal and child health, reproductive tract infection prevention, and the importance of utilizing post-disaster health services. This activity is expected to contribute to promotive and preventive efforts to minimize the impact of post-disaster reproductive health on the community.

Edukasi Kesehatan Hipertensi dan Demonstrasi Terapi Komplementer Rendam Kaki Air Jahe Desa Lampuuk Aceh Besar

Hypertension is one of the significant health problems in the community, especially in rural areas. This study aims to increase the knowledge of the Lampuuk Village community, Aceh Besar, regarding hypertension through health education, as well as introducing complementary therapy in the form of ginger water foot soaks. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of families with members in Gampong hypertension Lampuuk through education on hypertension management using complementary therapy and health education. The method used in this study is an educational and demonstrative approach. Counseling is carried out by providing information on the causes, impacts, and how to prevent hypertension. Then a demonstration of the use of ginger water as a complementary therapy to help lower blood pressure was carried out. The results of the paired t-test obtained a p value of 0.013, which means that there is an effect before and after being given hypertension health education and demonstration of complementary therapy in ginger water foot soaks in Lampuuk Village, Aceh Besar. The conclusion of this activity shows an increase in participants' knowledge about hypertension, as well as high enthusiasm for the use of ginger therapy.
