Peran Guru Bimbingan Konseling Terhadap Kenakalan Remaja di SMA Negeri Ambulu Kabupaten Jember

Juvenile delinquency behavior is one that is contrary to accepted social customs. The inability of adolescents to go through physical and psychological growth is what causes behavior that is contrary to these standards. Therefore, additional supervision is needed from parents, schools, and society as a whole, so that teenagers cannot be trapped easily enough into juvenile crimes. The purpose of this research is to find facts about the condition of juvenile delinquency in Ambulu State High School, Jember Regency. In addition, it is necessary to learn about the tactics and efforts used by teachers in dealing with juvenile delinquency activities that occur in the school environment. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. By creating a complex and comprehensive picture based on a complete and in-depth perspective of the informant, this qualitative approach seeks to capture a humanitarian problem. According to information from various teachers and previous research findings, Ambulu State High School can effectively deal with juvenile delinquency. However, the parties still need to exercise more control, because schools often do not know which children break the rules. In addition, a number of student informants stated that they often discussed problems at school with guidance and counseling teachers, such as learning challenges or levels to be achieved next.
