Analisis Perilaku Kekerasan pada Peserta Didik di SMA

The adolescent phase is characterized by emotional imbalance. One common occurrence is the prevalence of violence within school environments, encompassing both physical and verbal aggression. The research aims to explore the correlation between psychological, spiritual, and environmental factors as triggers for violent behavior in high school environments. This article adopts a qualitative research approach through a literature review from various previously published journals. The research findings indicate that violent behavior is influenced by both internal and external factors. An influential external factor in violent behavior is the environment, while internal factors, such as frustration, affect an individual's violent tendencies. Physical violence in high school environments is often perpetrated by males, dominated by the influence of patriarchal roles shaping negative masculine attitudes that emphasize muscular strength and an aggressive demeanor. On the other hand, psychological violence, mainly inflicted by female adolescents, involves attacking the victim's mental well-being through harsh words, insults, degradation, and judgment.
