Abstract

The formulation of the problems in this research are: 1) How is the character development based on among system at SD Negeri 1 Kebadongan, 2) What are the obstacles faced in the character development based on among system at SD Negeri 1 Kebadongan. These problems are discussed using a type of qualitative research with a fenomenology study approach. The method used by researchers to obtain data is the method of interviewing, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. This research shows that the among system based character development model in SD Negeri 1 Kebadongan is implemented through: (a) determining character-based educational goals, (b) determining the character values to be developed, (c) compiling a character education-based curriculum, (d) ) inculcating character in learning activities, (e) habituation activities, (f) coaching activities, (g) through extracurricular activities, (h) the teacher educates with love, (i) the teacher applies the trilogy of Ki Hajar Dewantara's leadership in educating, namely ing ngarsa sung tuladha (in front of being an example), ing madya building initiative (in the middle of providing motivation), and tut wuri handayani (providing support behind).
