Dampak Implementasi Evaluasi Pembelajaran PAI Sebagai Barometer Ketercapaian Siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar

Assessment in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) should not only focus on cognitive aspects but also encompass character development and the spiritual dimensions of students. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing Islamic religious education assessments as a form of evaluation to measure student achievement at SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with IRE teachers as the primary sources of information. The findings indicate that IRE assessments at SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar are implemented comprehensively through various forms of evaluation, including academic tests, habituation of worship practices, character strengthening, and flagship programs such as Tahfidz and ICT. Assessment is conducted not only through written tests and educational technology but also through observation of students’ attitudes, discipline, and consistency in worship. The implementation of IRE assessments has a positive impact on students’ holistic development, encompassing cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and spiritual dimensions.
