Abstract

The low level of learning interest among early childhood learners toward conventional instructional media presents a significant challenge amid the rapid advancement of digital technology. This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of Holo-Hijaiyah learning media, an innovative Qur’anic flashcard teaching aid that integrates physical cards with Augmented Reality (AR) technology enhanced by holographic effects. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The Holo-Hijaiyah media is designed using a multisensory approach that combines three-dimensional visual elements, audio pronunciation of makhraj for hijaiyah letters, and tactile interaction to create an immersive and meaningful learning experience. The expected outcomes of this study include an increase in early childhood learners’ interest in reading the Qur’an as well as an acceleration in their ability to recognize and memorize hijaiyah letters. This research is expected to provide both practical and conceptual contributions as a reference for the development of innovative, effective, and technology-based learning media that are responsive to the learning needs of early childhood learners in the digital era.
