Abstract

This study was designed to examine the implementation of digitalization in learning and its accompanying evaluation system, while also assessing the extent to which this innovation impacts students’ academic achievement at SMA Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura, particularly in the subjects of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan. Adopting a descriptive qualitative approach through field research, the study collected data via direct observation, in-depth interviews, and systematic documentation. The findings indicate that digital learning has been systematically implemented through the use of Smart TVs, PowerPoint presentations, YouTube-based animated videos, and creative assignments using Canva published via social media. The application of digital learning positively affects students’ academic performance, as evidenced by increased interest, engagement, and enthusiasm in the learning process. However, digital-based assessments have not yet shown a significant impact on shaping academic achievement, highlighting the need for a more effective integration of digital learning and authentic assessment to support optimal learning outcomes.
