Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' learning interest in mathematics, particularly in the topic of fractions among fourth-grade students at SD N 4 Puyoh. Mathematics is a key subject in developing students' logical and analytical thinking skills. High learning interest plays a crucial role in enhancing students' academic achievements and overall learning quality. The research method employed is quantitative, focusing on analyzing students' learning interest. Data collection instruments include observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to 15 fourth-grade students at SD N 4 Puyoh. These results indicate that there is no significant difference between students' learning interest and the expected value. The analysis also supports the finding that the applied teaching strategies are effective in maintaining students' learning interest at an adequate level. In conclusion, students' learning interest in fractions in fourth grade at SD N 4 Puyoh can be considered adequate and in line with expectations. These findings provide a basis for considering efforts to enhance teaching strategies to ensure that students' learning interest continues to grow and improve in the future.
