Keywords:

This study aims to analyze strategies for managing a safe and effective learning environment for early childhood through a literature review approach. The learning environment plays an important role in supporting children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development; therefore, its management needs to be optimized. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review design, drawing from 15 relevant national and international journal articles published within the last ten years. Data collection was conducted through documentation and literature searching from various scientific databases, while data analysis employed content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that effective learning environment management strategies include organizing a child-friendly physical environment, strengthening a positive social-emotional climate, implementing play-based learning, ensuring the safety of outdoor environments, and developing an inclusive and sustainable learning environment. Teachers play a central role in creating a safe, comfortable, and participatory learning atmosphere for early childhood learners. This study contributes to the development of early childhood education, particularly in managing learning environments oriented toward safety, comfort, and learning effectiveness.
