Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of user acceptance and adaptation challenges in using the JMO (Jamsostek Mobile) application among participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Madiun Branch Office. Employing a descriptive-qualitative approach through observations during an internship, the research highlights how public service digitalization drives service transformation while facing technical and social barriers. Observation results indicate that most participants accept the JMO application well due to ease of service access and data transparency, underscoring the effectiveness of BPJS's digital transformation. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy, network disruptions, and insufficient socialization remain major obstacles. The study recommends enhancing user education and providing ongoing technical support to optimize JMO implementation in improving BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's digital services.
