Hubungan Antara Faktor Lansia Terhadap Crossmatching Incompatible Minor di UDD PMI Kota Surakarta

This research aims to investigate the relationship between elderly factors and the occurrence of minor incompatible crossmatching. The research method employed is quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional design. The study population consists of 189 cases, with a sample size of 118 cases selected using random sampling techniques and processed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. Data analysis results reveal that in December, there were 118 cases of incompatible crossmatching, with a gender distribution of 41% male and 59% female. The most predominant blood type is O positive, accounting for 97%, while B positive comprises 3%. The most common incompatible result is My(-)Mn(+)AK(+), constituting 97%, whereas My(+), Mn(+), AK(+) represents 3%. Bivariate analysis indicates that the relationship between gender and incompatible crossmatching has a p-value of 0.155 (low), the relationship between blood type and incompatible crossmatching has a p-value of 0.030 (low), and the relationship between age and incompatible crossmatching has a p-value of 0.155 (low). The majority of incompatible crossmatching cases occur in females (59%), with blood type O positive (97%), and the My(-)Mn(+)AK(+) incompatible result (97%). The conclusion of this study suggests that these factors have a low association with the occurrence of minor incompatible crossmatching in the elderly.
