Asuhan Keperawatan pada Ny. I dengan Kasus Post Sectio Caesarea Atas Indikasi Plasenta Previa di Rumah Sakit Umum Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh

Abstract

One of the most common complications of pregnancy is placenta previa. Placenta previa is a condition during pregnancy where the placenta attaches to the lower part of the uterus, partially or completely covering the cervix (the opening of the uterus). This study aims to describe nursing care in Ny. I of the post-sectio caesarean with placenta previa indication. This study employs a case study design with a nursing approach. The results found three initial diagnoses: ineffective breastfeeding concerning milk supply inadequacy, acute pain on physical injury agents, and sleep pattern disorders related to poor sleep control. Based on the initial findings, the nursing care provided includes breast care treatment and lactation massage, health education on the benefits of breastfeeding, techniques to increase breast milk production, and suggestions to consume more vegetables, fruits, and nutritious foods. Additionally, support from husband and family members is also provided for exclusive breastfeeding. After five visits, the evaluation of the nursing diagnosis of ineffective breastfeeding related to breastfeeding supply inadequacy indicates there is a gradual increase in breast milk production. Furthermore, the husband is also willing to give the lactation massage and the baby is happy to breastfeed from the mother. Then, following the treatment, the intervention continues independently by the mother and family.
