Implementasi Asuhan Keperawatan Komunitas Berbasis Promosi Kesehatan pada Anak Usia Sekolah Dasar dengan Masalah Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut di Desa Cot Mancang

Dental and oral health is one of the parameters of an individual's overall health and indicates a person's quality of life. According to WHO, school-age children have dental caries reaching 60-90%. This can be caused by behavior that lacks attention to dental and oral health, so awareness and knowledge need to be increased. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of nursing care in school-age children in Cot Mancang Village regarding dental and oral health through counseling and demonstration of how to brush teeth correctly. The results of measuring dental hygiene of school-age children using the debris index were obtained from around 33 children with medium teeth and 21 children with good teeth. From the results of these measurements, it can be proven that more school-age children with poor teeth or damage to their teeth.
