Asuhan Keperawatan Anak Dengan Hirschprung Disease (Megacolon) di Ruang Nicu RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Aceh

Abstract

Hirschsprung's Disease (HD) is a congenital disorder characterized by the absence of Ganglion Cells (GC) in the Meissner Plexus (submucosa) and Auerbach Plexus (muscularis) of the terminal rectum that extends in varying distances proximally. This case study aims to explain nursing care for patients with Hirschsprung Disease in the NICU room of dr. Zainoel Abidin Hospital, Goverment Aceh. The results of the case study found three nursing diagnoses, namely constipation, risk of infection and sleep pattern disorders. The nursing actions given were constipation care, abdominal examination, postoperative wound care, monitoring signs of infection, preventing infection, Al-Qur'an morotal therapy, monitoring the results of supporting examinations, collaboration in administering drugs according to indications. The conclusion in this case has not been able to be repaired as a whole with the patient's abdominal condition being distended, post-op wounds, and the patient's sleep patterns still being disturbed. The next nursing action recommendation is to provide treatment for the abdomen, post-operative wounds and sleep patterns with collaboration of actions or treatments according to therapy.
