Asuhan Keperawatan pada Pasien Risiko Perilaku Kekerasan dengan Terapi Tertawa di Balee Anggrek Rumah Sakit Aceh

Abstract

Violent behavior risk is one form of anger response expressed through threats and has the potential to harm the environment or others. This case study aims to enhance the ability to provide holistic nursing care using the nursing process approach for patients at risk of violent behavior at Aceh Mental Hospital. The method used was a five-day case study focusing on providing psychiatric nursing care to a single patient exhibiting tendencies toward violent behavior. Initial data indicated that the patient frequently used harsh language and was easily provoked. The interventions implemented included the application of execution strategies and laughter therapy. The evaluation results showed that the patient began to better control their emotions, appearing calmer and more relaxed. The conclusion of this study is that execution strategies and laughter therapy are effective in managing the signs and symptoms of violent behavior risk and contribute to creating a sense of calm in the patient. It is hoped that laughter therapy can be integrated as one of the therapeutic methods in the treatment program for patients at risk of violent behavior at Aceh Mental Hospital.
